The days of distractions.

The days here have been so dull, hectic, boring, exciting.
So contradicting.
I don't even know how to describe it myself.

My exams are next week,
i'm definitely not prepared.

What in the world am i doing?

But then i woke up one morning,
with a knock on my door.

" Abeee! The scholarship results are out! "

And i freaked out.

" So what if i didn't get it.
No, i need to get the scholarship. It should be okay.
No, there's still a possibility that i won't get it. John got a full scholarship.
But my results are not bad, so there is also a possibility that i will get it.
Oh, heck this shit! "

And i clicked the button.

And HELL YES, I GOT IT!

Oh my God, i have never dreamt that this day would come.
A full scholarship worth of AUD 24,500.

A dream come true.

Really a dream come true.

I actually went for my first netball practice after about what, two years or so?
*Don't be jealous SookTeng!*
And it never felt better.
I never realised that i have actually missed netball so much that when i played yesterday,
i enjoyed it a hundred per cent although i had to bear with my body aches today.
I had so much fun,
until,

" Abee, we gotta go now. Cause i just got a call from FungKeng. They are bringing Buford to the hospital now. He's got a short-term memory loss. "

" WHAT?!?!? "

Apparently, he was playing soccer with some really huge guys with Terence on the field right outside our house.
And when he was having the ball, someone tackled him from behind.
And he fell backwards, head first.
And he was slightly unconscious for about a minute.
And the first thing he asked when he woke up was, " Where am i? What am i doing here? "
And he went on asking, " What did i do the whole day today? How come i'm here? "
And it's an experience you would never want to experience.

The funny part in this whole experience part was,

" Terence, tell me. Do i have a girlfriend? Do i do i? "
" Buford, what's your girlfriend's number? "

And he actually managed to spell out his girlfriend's number right away.
Hahaha.
Amazing, what Love can do.

The terrible part was that he had to wait 5 hours before the doctor finally consulted him.
And guess what?
After 5 hours of time-wasting, the doctor said,

" There should be nothing serious. But if you insist, I suggest you to consult a specialist to perform a scan if you are worried. Or if you can wait, you can kindly wait outside until we looked at other patients in which may take quite a while. "

What. the. hell.
If someone would have been dying, he would have been dead by now.
What. the. crap.

Talk about being slow back in Malaysia.
Trust me, it's worse here.

There was another case.
A friend's friend actually broke his leg while playing sports.
Where you can really see that the two bones weren't connecting with each other anymore.
Imagine the pain okay?
So they called an ambulance, and the nurse asked him,
" Is it very painful? Can you still hold it? "
It is a normal thing to answer yes right?
I mean, you won't go answering, " No, i'm going to DIE. COME NOW. "
So, he answered, " Yes. "

And guess what again?
The ambulance arrived 2 hours later.

The moral of the story is pretend to die even if you are not.
It is the fastest way to get you attended to.

And ShiVon just called.
I'm supposed to be out there for my first futsal training.
But damn it, my muscles are aching too much.

I better go get some rest.

To the one(s) playing Semi-Pro doubles today,

All De Best!

*hugs*
