It's been nearly a year.

And i have to admit,
nothing would have been better throughout these months.

Yes, when i was back home in February,
i was dreading to come here to Brisbane.
I even had the thought of finishing my studies back home,
because all i wanted to do was to stay back home for, well, all of you know what reason.
But did i has the least bit regret of coming here?

NO WAY!

I had the time of my life here.
Seriously.

Well, i can't say that there are much to do here.
But the weather's been great,
and what's most important, the company's been really really good.
Or should i say, the BEST. :)

I came here in February.
Know no one except for the miserable Terence, John, FungKeng, and Chris.
*Heehee, i'm joking. *
You guys were the BEST, and of course, still are! :)
*Love you guys*

Oh, and even before that,
i've actually met up with my not-so-close-infact-not-even-close high school friend,
Lim Christopher,
and because of this whole Brisbane thingy,
we contacted each other and started talking.
So, it's not a HI-BYE friendship anymore,
we're actually friends then,
and my best-est friend now!
*Omg, sounds like a kiddo but who cares!*

" Little Xuan-Wey, you better agree with me if not i don't friend you! "

LOL!

And then I came here to Brisbane, staying with the bunch of monkeys.
( Monkeys = Terence, FungKeng, Chris, John)

And through Chris, I got to know Siew Foong,
a very good cook,
but has been recently missing in action because he spends like almost his whole life in Uni studying.
Then Siew Foong told us his cousin was coming to stay with us too.
(Oh, if i didn't mention, my former house had 12 rooms, so you can imagine the amount of people in the house!)

So guess who his cousin was?
His cousin, Elaine, was one of my Unimates back in HELP.
(Known as the one who's always late)
And guess what?
She's just like her cousin who is a very very good cook,
and hee hee hee,
she's my housemate now! :)
She makes a very very very very good wife and mom, really. :)

And then i got to know Blacky Khor through Elaine,
Blacky Khor, someone you can NEVER get advice from,
because his advice will definitely lead you towards the wrong direction,
BUT, he knows me like i'm a worm in his tummy,
I have to admit.

Also met Gary, who is a very very very nice guy.
Too nice to be true.
*Thanks for the OrangeJuice!*
:)

Through Elaine, i met other people like Phan, JayYi, Ron, WeiYin, WeiLik, Sam, AiYung,
and through them, i met many other people as well.

When i was sleeping back in Munro(my former house),
my phone started ringing, and i stared at it,
Grace was calling.
Who's Grace? Which Grace?
OH, Yam's EX, GRACE.

" Hello, wanna have lunch together to catch up some time later? "
" Okie docks! "

And i remember, that first time i met up with her, she brought me to SunnyBank,
and from then onwards, we started talking and such, and got closer,
and what now?
I got married to her, fml.
*Hugs*

And then I went to my FIRST club on the 9th of May.
I forgot what made me go, who talked me into going,
but who cares right?
:)
And started going clubbing since.
But, NO.
I've stopped clubbing for a while now.
I understand it now when they say, " Sometimes, you'll just have the mood to go, but sometimes, you just don't."
So yes, i have been a pretty good girl. :)

And then, there were Netball trainings and tourneys, in which i met these beautiful ladies. :)

And basketball, in which i met these handsome guys.
*Ahem* Only one handsome guy actually.
=D

And how can i forget Andy my Daddy, Kiru, Suni, Brian and Tony?

And there's also Alvin, Darren, Randall, JunYi, Harold, Melanie, and all the futsal buddies.

I met almost half the world already since i'm here, and got close to a lot of them now,
and you tell me that 2009's gonna end and everyone's leaving already?

I'm upset.

But i've decided to stay here in Brisbane to continue my studies.
Masters maybe?
Because i love this place, i love the company, i love my life.

So to those leaving soon, you people SUCK!

Nah, joking.

" Love all of you! "

Peace.

What happened to Sabrina Chuan?

First, my blog is NOT dead okay.
I'm just too lazy to blog.
No, scratch that.
I'm too B-U-S-Y to blog.

:)

But but, people are complaining, people whom i didn't even know read my blog.
So i think i better get back to work.

:)

So, SabrinaChuan has bangs now.
Wtf right?
If i was back home, i wouldn't in a million years have the courage to try that shieat.
But, since i'm here in Aussieland, wouldn't mind trying.
Hee. But i got provoked into it actually.

" Sabrina, suk ar? "
" Err, no ark. "
" Don't lie ar, can see u confirm suk already. "
" I SHALL PROVE IT TO YOU! "

And so, Taaa-Daaahhh!
SabrinaChuan became the Standard 5 SabrinaChuan.
Said Marianne.

*sighs*

Don't understand?
Well, the last time i had bangs was when i was in Standard 5.
So my bestest friend ( MarianneChung) said i looked EXACTLY like how i used to look like when i was in Standard 5.
Minus the specs part.

*CURRENT*

*STANDARD 5*

And yes~!
That's her on the left, and err, yeah, that's me on the right.
I don't believe i'm actually putting this picture up for everyone to see, but heck-lah.
DAMN CUTE RIGHT?
Heehee heehee!
My bestest friend is the most insulting friend i've ever had in my life.

*Peace*

How's the new haircut?

:)

Last year's today.

The day of broken-hearted decisions,
the break of a very strong bond,
the end of a very beautiful relationship,
the beginning of a very sorrowful life,
the day of painful regrets.

Last year's today.

My blog is essential.

REALLY essential.
You know why?
Cause without my blog,
I think I wouldn't know how to write or speak proper English anymore.

Nowadays, I've been speaking ROJAK English.
*Ahem*

ROJAK English = Cantonese + Mandarin + Malay + Hokkien + English

As if my English wasn't bad enough, my Malay is deteriorating as well.
Because I have a Singaporean friend like AlvinGoh teaching me Malay terms.
I remembered that day i really wanted to play futsal,
he commented.

" Really wanna play? Just play. We are all playing for fun anyways! Join us! At most, you will get RAMBUT! "

" Errr, what's RAMBUT?! "

" Doesn't RAMBUT mean KICK-VERY-HARD in malay? "

" NOOO? RAMBUT means HAIR! "

" ROFL! "

And i thought i was gonna get HAIR-ED if i've decided to play futsal with them.

:)

That got me thinking though.
So what's kick very hard in Malay?
I asked Grace.

" What's kick very hard in Malay? "

" Err, tendang? "

" Nooo. That's kick. Not tendang nor sepak. What's kick very hard? "

" Hahahaha. Tendang kuat-kuat! "

-_-"

I gave up and asked Laili instead.
So the word is NOT RAMBUT nor issit TENDANG KUAT-KUAT.
It's called REMBAT.

Thanks to both of them, i had a good laugh.
All ends well.
What's life without a funny friend or two?

:)

And finally after all the arguments about sepak, tendang, rambut and rembat,
we finally continued the conversation about futsal.
So he said,

" Just play will you? If not you will never get the courage to play for the rest of your life! Look at Darren, he improved so much since he started playing with us regularly. From a PLASTIC BAG KICKER to who he is now. Isn't it good? "

Hahahah.
This part of the post is actually for you DARRENLIMYINCHENG.
I just can't waste any chances of reminding myself and reminding you about the plastic bag thing.

XD

Anyway,

I DON'T WANT TO BE A PLASTIC BAG KICKER!

And so, i went clubbing again last Monday.
Yes, MONDAY.
I did not get my days wrongly.
I WENT CLUBBING ON A MONDAY!

But it was like any ordinary clubbing night.
Yes, really.
Actually, not really.
But.
Urrrgggghhh!
I'll just keep that to myself.
That's it.
Oh, and Grace too.
That's it.

So i don't have any photos to show you really.
Cause we only took 3 miserable photos that night.
And so, what's the point right?

The guys had basketball friendly last Friday.
Against the Indonesians.
And it was a good day, Friday, until i got stood up.
YET AGAIN.

:(

Anyways.

*Poor LawYiingKui has to wait for another week to play basketball.*

XD

And so, I FINALLY WATCHED MY NEW FAVOURITE MOVIE!

And omg, i really got to admit.
It's better than transformers!
It's like Transformers + X-Men + Ironman, but hell!
IT WAS AWESOME!

And i love love love love love Snake Eyes and Storm Shadows!

:)

* Faints *

There's an effing snake in my house!

Okay-lah.
Not in my house, but it was in the compound of the house.
And the bloody snake jusy swallowed a rat or something.
So it was damn fat and lazy cuddled up just outside the porch.

It is damn freaky okay.
I've been having these weird dreams about snakes, snakes and snakes.
And everytime it would end with me chopping off the snake's head.
Too much of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

*shakes head*

And no-lah.
This was not the snake outside.
If it was that big, i would have pengsan-ed.
Seriously.

My camera died on me when i wanted to take picture of it.
Pffftt!

So we tried calling the owner but no answer.
And we were rushing off to Uni.
When we came back, it wasn't there anymore.
So let's just hope it will never come back!

Don't come back! Go AWAY!
I hate snakes! I hate lizards! I hate reptiles!

*shy*

So guess what?
Plastykcrayon is coming to Brisbane tomorrow!
HOPEFULLY with my spoon necklace!

:)

" And che, please please don't tell the parents about the snake thing. I don't want them to worry.
I'll handle it, chop its head off or something.
Okay? "

Futsal was awesome today!
Effing funny, so much drama!
Some new guy was rolling on the floor and sorry, i really can't help laughing!!
And I think Grace was trying to put on a straight face and NOT laugh, but she FAILED badly!
Well, we caught Jun Yi and Tony laughing as well.
So, it's not all bad.

:)

I haven''t really showed you all my or more accurately our (Grace's too) most common hang out place.
Let me present to you.

ISP,
the place where the guys play futsal,
the place where the girls watch futsal.

That's Tony, the Arsenal fan.

That's Terence Woon and he makes the WORST keeper on earth.
And S-U-R-P-R-I-S-E!
Grace, this is for you!
Hahahahaha!
:)

* I know it's not as good as the one back home YAP, SHHUUSSSHHH! *

And i've finally seen the supposed to be OH-SO-HORRIBLE jersey!
But then, i was disappointed.
It turned out to be OH-NOT-SO-HORRIBLE after all.

:(

Stupid MU.
Now i've got to admit that Chelsea has the ugliest jersey!
Stupid MU!
Stupid stupid stupid!!

That keychain of yours.

Oh, i do miss that keychain of yours Shaunnie.
That keychain was perfect for you.
Wonder who bought it?

:)

I actually managed to wake up for an 8am class.
Am so damn proud of myself.
Elaine went, " OMG. Am i seeing things? YOU'RE WIDE AWAKE AND GOING FOR CLASS! "
Yes i am.
But then, i actually missed my 12pm class.
You know why?
I overslept.

Okay, i know i am weird.

But that's just the way it is.
So, what's next?

I started my first week of uni.
Lecture classes are so damn huge.
So huge that when you're just a tad bit late, all seats are already taken.
That means i have to wake up EARLIER to go for classes.
But that's HIGHLY UNLIKELY.
Because i will most probably just get someone to be there early to book seats for me.
As easy as A-B-C.
Anything to get my extra 5 or 10 minutes of sleep!

Weekly futsal sessions are finally back!
And i haven't watched good futsal in a long time.
With the whole group back in action, what more can you ask for?

And basketball sessions are back too.
And oh my goodness me.

PLEASE ATTEND WHEN YOU'VE CLICKED 'ATTENDING' IN FACEBOOK,
IF NOT DON'T BOTHER CLICKING AT ALL!

*ahem, clears throat*

First week of uni didn't felt like first week of uni at all.
Because I still went here and there and everywhere.
First was to Toowong,
then to Chermside (psst, we went ALL the way there to get Dynasty Warriors 4 okay),
then to Sunnybank,
then to Indooroopilly,
and to The Three Monkeys,
then to Indooroopilly again,
and to Indooroopilly again today.

Please don't think i'm a shopping freak,
because i'm not.
Two out of the three times i was in Indooroopilly Mall were to watch movies okay.

The 3 movies I've watched this week.

Movie #1

A movie in which I've stayed only for the first hour (or maybe less) of the movie.
It's complicated, complicated and complicated.
You know why?
Because they ALL looked the same.
So I didn't know who was who and what was what,
and who killed what and what killed who,
and oh whatever.
Conclusion is, Grace and I left.

Movie #2

It could have been a good movie if i would have watched the whole thing.
Because it's funny.
But you could have guessed, can't you?
Yes, we left Public Enemies and hopped into this cinema.
So it was awkward.

"...... don't worry.. Doug will be okay.. we'll find him.."

And Grace and I looked at each other and whispered,
" Who's Doug?!?! "

Movie #3

I dragged Grace who dragged Bryant who dragged Calvin who dragged Wesley to watch this movie.
And it was a last minute thing because we all rushed back from Sunnybank after dinner.
The movie was crappy,
but funny.
Well, I found it funny and was laughing all the way.
And i think Calvin and Wesley found it funny too because they were laughing next to me.
But I don't think Grace did because i could feel her jumping next to me.
XD
*Awww, hugs!*

And I don't think i've mentioned it officially here.
Or did I?
Anyways, I've actually shifted to a new place.

Darling GY,
I'll post up the pictures of my new place soon enough kays?
XOXO

*Dynasty Warriors time!*
Tahs!

This only happens once in a blue moon.
I better jot down and treasure this moment.

He'll prolly start calling me 'lousy' again tomorrow.
Who knows?

All you've ever meant to my life.

When i was attached, i have always wondered how being single feels like.
I have always thought that being single was the best.
You can act, talk, play and flirt in any way with anyone,
without feeling a tad bit guilty.
You can just do anything, go anywhere,
without reporting to anyone.
Freedom was all yours.

I had that someone with me,
that someone who loved me so much,
cared for me too much.
That someone whom i know, will always be there for me.
But i guess i've taken things for granted.
Because i knew that he would always be there for me,
I did not appreciate him as much.
I could have done way better than that, now that i've learnt my lesson.
Foolish?
I guess I am.

It's when you have that something, you'll want to have something else,
and when you have that something else, you'll want something else.
More and more, it'll never stop.
And everyone do take things for granted, just that they don't notice it.
Or maybe they do, but they just don't give a shit.
Not until they go through the pain and sorrows,
the lessons we have to walk through in our lives,
the sufferings and misery we have to feel to stand back up.

You'll never never know how deep my regrets were,
when i lost it,
when i lost him.

I've been single for a few months now.
And i guess freedom will not be what i choose to have.
If you would ask me again, i will tell you openheartedly that i will prefer to have someone.
Some who would be there to care for me, love me.
Someone who would be there for me when i'm all stressed up, when i'm unhappy.
Someone who would be there with me when i'm happy.
Someone who would be there to take my hand and walk me through my life.

" .. my heart is so disguised, I just can't live a lie anymore.. "

What a wait.

So it was Gary's 26th birthday the other night at Hogs Breath Cafe.
:)
Happy happy Birthday!

Okay-lah.
Gary is not 26.
He's only Twenty-Two.

:)

HUGS!

And you know what?
I've been in Aussieland for 6 months already!
Time passes so damn fast.
*Okay, i'm random.*
And it's so damn weird how I do not go clubbing AT ALL back home, and here?
It's like a routine.
And my tolerance for alcohol is building up.
Is that good or bad?

:)

Clubbing @ Mystique

Very little pictures these time because there were only a few of us.
Where is my Phan when i need him?
=P

And i have always wondered.
Will i actually step into a club when i get my ass back to Malaysia?

MY Grace said, " We have got to go clubbing back in Malaysia. You better come back in December. "

We'll see.

:)

So, I waited for God knows how long for HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE to release.
And it finally did.

Disappointment.
Wasn't up to expectations.
And crap, now i understand why people have been telling me that they understood nuts .
Because if i hadn't read the book, i would have been one of them.
BUT.
I am still a loyal harry potter fan.

:)

Terence turns 21 today!

And guess where we had the blow cake session?

8 Boomerang Rd, St Lucia, Brisbane.
*Fml, I am so damn proud of my house!*

And guess who joined us?
I proudly present our guest of honour, Wong Mo Mo.

:)

Mahjong and Poker Session after!
And a carton of Tooheys!
*Psst, not very nice, Corona nicer!*

*Yawns*
Fml, i'm falling asleep on my keyboard.
Just before i leave,
picture of the night!

My roomie and I!
<3
*Love you so much!*
